Nineteen of the Russian's 21 championships have been won on hard courts
A revitalized Medvedev claimed his initial trophy for over two years with a win over opponent Moutet in the tournament championship match.
The athlete, a ex- number one, has experienced a difficult year, achieving just one match at the Grand Slams and undergoing a setback at the American major.
Medvedev's inconsistency on the professional circuit - and issues with his serving in particular - caused him dropping out of the world's top 10 and eventually separating with long-time trainer Cervara.
Now training with his coach and his other coach, Medvedev has consistently advanced in the last few weeks - culminating in a closely contested 7-5 4-6 6-3 victory over challenger Moutet.
It is Medvedev's initial championship since the Italian tournament and first on a hard surface after spring of 2023.
Victory also indicates the Russian has won 21 victories at twenty-one various competitions.
"This marks the first occasion I'm at a competition with my both daughters together, so to get a championship is really nice," commented ranked player Daniil Medvedev.
"This championship is in honour of my child Victoria, because the initial championship I got when my older daughter Alisa was born was for her."
The tennis star, the former major winner, had failed in his past six championship matches, including in the German tournament earlier this year.
The player's counter-punching strategy and recurring outbursts on court had prompted commentators to wonder if his skill to compete at the elite level was concluded.
However the athlete has altered his approach in recent weeks, striving to approach the net and perform assertively, reinforced by an enhanced serving game.
The champion fought back from a disadvantage in the initial set against the challenging opponent, winning four of the concluding five games to gain the advantage.
Both players traded break points in the second set before Moutet, attempting for his maiden tour championship, gained dominance to create a third set.
Moutet rescued 4 early-game break points in a competitive final set before Medvedev broke to 15 to close out the victory.
Appropriately, Medvedev earned the title with a shot at the front of the court, with the Frenchman unable to manage a shot after over two and a half hours.
